Two months ago, I bought a used Subaru that seemed too good to be true… and it was. While under warranty, the “dealer” replaced my engine and transmission but when the car was returned, its check engine light quickly reappeared. I brought the car to Wayne’s for a third-party opinion, and within a few hours, they had to deliver the bad news that the car was in very poor condition following the negligent engine replacement, as well as the structural decay and lack of general upkeep that was hidden from me as a buyer. Caitlin was so kind and helpful, and they gave me great advice as to my next steps in pursuing a refund. As someone with *clearly* minimal auto experience, the past few months have been overwhelming and centered around distrust and deceit. The team at Wayne’s made me feel supported and empowered, and I’m actually getting my money back and starting from scratch on the car pursuit this week. Will definitely be going back to Wayne’s, and hopefully with a better vehicle next time!
